Twitter Reacts to Tiffany Haddish's Controversial Tweet About Jonathan Majors

Tiffany Haddish has caused quite the uproar on Twitter since posting an opinion piece regarding Jonathan Majors' legal drama. While her tweet was later deleted, its message still continues to circulate even after it has been archived and shared ad nauseam. Twitter users took to their platform in droves to criticize the actress' behavior and spread false information, drawing attention to past controversies like an incident involving child sexual abuse in one of her skits. Twitter Reacts to Tiffany Haddish’s Controversial Tweet About Jonathan Majo Tiffany Haddish's tweet about Jonathan Majors may have seemed funny at first, but many other social media users quickly pointed out its inappropriate content as being mere gossip. After this criticism surfaced, Haddish deleted it from her account but is still receiving backlash for her defense of Majors which many users consider unfair. As many are aware, Jonathan Majors was arrested on Saturday for allegedly assaulting a woman in New York. This came about after she called 911 to report an altercation involving him in Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. New York City Police reported that according to testimony provided by the alleged victim, she got into an argument with Majors after trying to view his phone and then began an extended discussion that lasted approximately 15 minutes until she reported being hit in the head with an open hand, leading her to seek treatment from medical providers at a local hospital for minor injuries sustained during their exchange. Industry insiders have recently come forward on Twitter with accusations against Jonathan Majors for abusive and dangerous behavior, such as those posted by accounts such as those that appear in Your Turn and Uncle Frank starring him. Allegations include cruelness, sociopathity and abuser-type tendencies from Majors's actions. Additionally, several users noted that Majors had recently lost lucrative deals in Hollywood as a result of his arrest and assault allegations. Furthermore, both his PR firm and talent manager dropped him following news of this development. Even though this situation is grave, that doesn't mean the public should ignore its details. While Majors may have acted out of emotion or in haste, he should still be held accountable for his actions. As many are already aware, Jonathan Majors was arrested last month on domestic violence accusations from multiple women who have come forward with complaints against him and his attorney, Priya Chaudhry has released texts messages in an effort to show that Majors is innocent of these accusations. Jonathan Majors was arrested Saturday morning in New York on assault and harassment charges after an alleged victim reported that they had engaged in a domestic dispute with him. She told authorities that Majors became violent during an altercation they were engaged in while riding in a taxi on Friday night; upon seeing this retaliatory strikes were applied by Majors against her; she reported experiencing a laceration behind her ear, redness and marks to her face as a result of this encounter. Majors' arrest came at an exciting time for his career; it followed an unforgettable role as The Last Black Man's protagonist, multiple appearances in films like Da 5 Bloods, and playing Kang the Conqueror in Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Majors has attracted many admirers over his long career. In 2020, he was arrested in Hawaii for strangling a woman; later that same year, he was accused of throwing a chair at another female victim. Tiffany Haddish’s Tweet About Jonathan Majo Tiffany Haddish has found herself embroiled in controversy once again after appearing to defend Jonathan Majors against recent domestic abuse accusations. Shortly after sharing a post which she later deleted, Tiffany found herself receiving heavy backlash from Twitter users. Some have advocated that Haddish should stand in support of women and speak out against abusive men who hurt women, rather than supporting him in any capacity. Furthermore, some individuals believe she should never have publicly declared her support of him to begin with. Another person questioned why Tiffany felt she needed to defend him at all given she herself had experienced allegations of abuse against her and was in no position to do damage control for her friend. Fans have pointed out Haddish has a history of sexual misconduct, such as her recent legal battle where she was accused of molestation of her younger brother during filming for Funny or Die. Although this lawsuit was settled out-of-court, many feel she should support victims rather than defend abusers. Some have noted that she is known to engage in cyberbullying and is unsupportive of victims. Additionally, they noted that she does not advocate for women's rights but instead promotes her personal views. Tiffany Haddish posted an article Thursday regarding Jonathan Majors' accuser, Rania Jabbari. According to Priya Chaudhry of Majors' legal team, security footage has shown Jabbari clubbing post-incident, seemingly without being injured from an altercation between herself and Majors. Tiffany shared an LA Times piece in her tweet detailing this happening; specifically mentioning how Jabbari went clubbing following what appears to be an assault alleged against Majors from Priya Chaudhry who obtained hours of footage showing Rania Jabbari going clubbing without being injured from altercations between them both parties involved despite allegations. Twitter quickly trended with this post and comments began flooding in immediately. Many criticized Haddish's controversial tweet and noted she wasn't equipped to help her friend who has already faced legal ramifications; others accused her of trying to play patriarchal princess and criticised her questionable conduct with minors. Twitter users also pointed out Haddish's previous controversies, including Law Roach's interview with Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked wherein he informed Haddish she had "ruined many relationships trying to elevate" herself and cyberbullying a doctor trying to spread information about COVID-19 which can cause children to be sexually abused.
